The Sales Coach will support the business in meeting sales and revenue targets through ongoing assessment, monitoring, coaching and training of representatives.

The responsibilities include

  • Improve sales performance through individual and group coaching and training.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve sales performance of individual representatives, entire teams and the call center overall.
  • Shadow sales teams to identify shortfalls in performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop training plans and deliver them in a timely manner to ensure that barriers to superior performance are eliminated.
  • Assist in developing scripts for sales representatives.
  • Identify opportunities for synergy between departments.
  • Maintain a informed knowledge of business and the regulatory environment in which we operate.
  • Track effectiveness of training and coaching through performance improvement.
  • Maintain documentation and report on training effectiveness.
  • Suggest scripting, call flow and system improvements based on observations.
  • Acts as a role model to trainees. Be available for impromptu coaching.

Typical skills include:

  • College undergraduate/graduate degree.
  • Proven success in a sales role and experience delivering formal sales training, including call center or other high volume inside sales roles.
  • Demonstrated solid knowledge of sales techniques and sales training methodologies.
  • Demonstrated tremendous initiative in identifying needs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Persuasive oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history of innovative, quality sales training success.
  • Ability to develop action plans, execute and follow through to completion.
  • Mentoring and supportive with the ability to guide individuals towards achieving goals through influence, collaboration and friendly, positive motivation.
